How is Virginia A&M Prep Academy different? While the characteristics of many postgraduate programs are the same, At Virginia A&M Prep Academy we operate differently. Must have campuses, via Military, former public or private school buildings, or seasonally leased sites. Virginia A&M operates in the 21st Century offering accredited courses virtually, with AI teachers, and on-site we provide instructional assistants assigned to each class, (1) for every 10 to 12 students, with an Academic Advisor appointed to supervise the academic progress of our students and staff. Beginning in the Summer of 2026 Virginia A&M will begin recruiting our post-graduate who have gone uncommitted and signed in 2025, and prepare them for 2026. Virginia A&M Prep will begin recruiting our first class of high school future and present high schooler, in the Fall and Spring grades 9th through 12th grade. All our classes are accredited and NCAA-approved Core Courses. We will also offer course recovery, and students can earn their High School Diploma, from Virginia A&M Prep Academy: Although our program is designed for elite student-athletes, all students are welcome to attend Virginia A&M. Our program is set in an urban environment where we seek to challenge them academically, athletically, and socially. Virginia A&M's qualified staff, and small enrollment, will provide them with intense training and personal development, along with local, regional and national competitions giving our recruits the necessary exposure required to compete collegiately for both academic and athletic scholarships in today's college athletic marketing. But most of all, we offer our student-athletes assistance to perform and achieve them at their highest level. This makes Virginia A&M Academy an excellent place for your student. College Retention the United States Department of Education reports that more than half of all male students who begin college never complete! Most withdraw during their freshman year. Of those who do complete an associate or bachelor’s degree, only 34 percent do so within four years the average amount of time students spend earning these degrees is 6 years. This is mostly due to a lack of preparation before attending college. Before Virginia A&M Prep Academy, student-athletes had a retention rate of 85 percent and an average completion rate of 4.5 years once they entered college. Virginia A&M's goal is to help our students develop the academic and athletic skills, study skills, self-discipline, maturity, and self-confidence necessary to succeed in a college or university environment rather than just survive it.
